I'm looking to buy a new awning for my T5. I currently have a Kampa Travel Pod Xpress which at 2x2m is too small to take all the stuff required by a 2 year old as well as having a bit of extra living space.
I'm looking at the Khyam classic 380 but there seems little if any information on them. There are no dealers within 100 miles of me so I can't go and find one to look at either!

Are they easy to pitch? Undecided on the awning only or whether to get the sleeper option. Much of my gripe about the Kampa was the difficulty in re attaching once I'd driven away and returned!

Just debating whether or not it's worth shelling £400 on a Khyam or whether to go for something else e.g one of the new air awnings.

Hi there, what kind of awning rail do you have? This can make all the difference. We have a reimo multirail that takes a figure of 8 or a pole and clamp. The figure of 8 once attached to the awning just clips on to the top part of the rail.
The awning itself is reasonably easy to put up once you get the nack. It is tall so I need a bit of help to hold the middle bit up while I go round doing the legs.
I am 5'3 I would suggest you watch some videos on how to put it up and take it down.
Very roomy plenty of space. We got the inner tent but did not like it.

The above link is a video about the awning. Hope this helps.
