does anyone own one of this and can you use the card slot at the side to use a sky free view card in it? I have tried cello web site but can't find any info on it. Thanks
If the TV does not have a Satellite tuner embedded, then the CAM slot is only of use for encrypted Terrestrial transmissions, back in the day could have been used for "On Digital" with the relevant CAM and Card.
These days though I don't think the CAM slot can be of any use.
We have a Humax Freeview PVR (terrestrial) STB at home, and that has a CAM slot, and if BT issued a CAM and Card it could be used for BT Sport, but as they don't it can't.
Edit = just done a Google and the TV does indeed have a satellite Tuner so the CAM slot could be used for foreign satellite TV using the relevant CAM and Card.
Sky don't issue a media guard CAM, so not much use if you have a Sky viewing Card, although back in the day, you could get a Dragon CAM, which would work with a Sky viewing Card, but I think those days are long gone.
Well you could just hook up a satellite dish to it, and it will give you all the FTA stuff from Astra 2, so you will get all the Freesat channels as well.
Quite a good bit of kit really, and for UK use you could opt for a small antenna like the Arcon Sweety or a flat plate antenna from SelfSat.
