We're novices who are getting closer to making our purchase to chase the dream and take our extended trip around Europe (there's 3 of us including our 3 year old)...
We are currently wondering if motorhomes have a safety rating system similar to that of cars (crash testing etc). I've had a quick scout around on Google and can't come up with anything.
In terms of specifics, we think we've decided on the Elddis Autoquest 180 so would also appreciate any feedback / advice anyone has in respect of this particular motorhome too! I'm unable to drive anything over 3500kgs so our choices are pretty limited.
I don't think the 3500kg will limit you much, if at all, so don't fret about it. But I'm only going by the labels in the showrooms. The problem can come if you load up masses of extra / heavy stuff to take on holiday, and get caught in a spot check.
