Hi,looking for any advice regarding the repair of the top lock on my Dometic hab door,the problem is the top pin has dropped .The van is a Carthago 2007 it looks as if I have to remove the panel to access it has anyone undertaken this before.Thanks

I have had a few problems with our (Hartel) habitation door but its always been sorted by the dealer.

Walshy, my central locking habitation lock stuck (locked on). I had to remove plastic internal door trim (attached with handle, a couple of screws and velcro) to access locking mechanism. The rods for top/bottom locking 'pins' are adjustable so I assume that this should resolve your problem. Not too difficult and may save you dealer extortionate costs. Good luck.
