Humm, how deep is your pocket and how far do your DIY, skills go??? As above go and have a GOOD look at it and take a damp tester with you , you can buy them from the likes of B&Q, if it has not been moved for while then expect some other problems ie, a sticky clutch, brakes binding due to rust, tyres may have swollen on one side due to being parked for so long, sorry for being sort of a doom and gloom , but that is what I always looked for when restoring VW cars and campers, some of them were untouchable and some yes, with time and effort could be restored to a very good finish, good luck and let the forum know how you get on.
thats fine yer hes done a few bits over the last few weeks drives well etc done all that just this damp problem and hes lost hes place of storage to so yer will deffo go look as not to far from me any more tips let me know :)
The biggest part is fixing the leak once you have done that and your sure its sealed replacing wall board and stuff should be straight forward.
Its amazing how quickly it dries out once you remove the vynl wall covering .
Check the floor isnt soft it's a little harder to fix that.
It might be the bargain of the year. Maybe the seller just wants rid of it, but even 20 year old motorhomes do not sell for £800. A good example will set you back £15k or more. Sorry to be suspicious, but it sounds far too cheap.
