No gas is getting through to appliances in my dads motorhome.
Bottle is on and valves in Motorhome are open.
Where he purchased it from have told him to purge the system because it will be air in it.
Anyone tell me how to do this please?

Firstly, no smoking or naked lights. Turn on one (1 only) gas ring on cooker, the gas will eventually come through. There is a different 'hiss' between gas and air. Spark the 1 gas ring every few seconds. It should light. Then try another ring, and then another if you have more. Then turn those off...and move to the fridge. It will maybe need a purge as well, this you can not see and maybe not hear, so no talking to dad whilst you check this item out. It is all to do with the gas chasing the air out of the pipes.
Edit....NB...If the gas bottles and the van are new, and it is designed to have gas heating ON whilst travelling the gas bottles have, adjacent to the gauge an isolation valve. Check handbook if you have this. Difficult for me to describe, without being at our van. Hope this helps.

The van isn't new. It's 2012. He's had it a while and not used the gas yet.

If nothing else works then probably failed bulkhead regulator. Not expensive or difficult to replace. If he has just bought it then spiel from dealers sounds like a cop out. Tell him to take it back & insist they fix it foc.
