We have A Pilote motorhome which has a a habitation and cab door lock which works from for to automatically lock all doors when fob is pressed but all of a sudden it will lock the cab doors but not the habitation and has to be locked with key . Has anyone got any ideas what could be wrong It's not the battery in the fob cos bought a new one and still doesn't work. Seems silly of us but just trying to illiminate any reasons Be grateful for ideas as we would like to fix it
Just noticed your post 'bairn'.
Had a similar problem with ours when we first had the van.
There will almost certainly be 2 small round sprung contacts on the edge of your habitation door surround - prob. about half way down. These then connect to the flat contacts on the door edge itself allowing the door central locking to be activated and de-activated.
1. Check that all contacts are clean and aligned properly.
2. If required the closing pressure can be increased simply by slipping a small piece of plastic behind the flat contacts on the door.
Hope this helps! Please let us know how you get on.
