Hi I wonder if anyone can help me, My tv works fine when plugged into mains, but when I change to 12 volts, the sound disappears, all the channels are there and the picture is normal but there is no sound. Any suggestions greatly appreciated

Possibly not enough voltage. Try it with engine running which will put some voltage into leisure battery. If that works but not without engine running it suggests leisure battery is on the way out.

I had a 12v TV that came with the van coupled to the sat unit.
No sound ,but good picture when van on EHU.and charging .
Turn of charger and sound on TV returns ??.
Checked wiring for polarity & continuity all ok .
Changed TV for a new Celo with HDMI etc
Now works a treat as it should .
So a strange one for me ,hope you get it sorted .
