Dare I suggest 2 possibilities?

1/   Your bottle of gas you changed to is also empty.

2/   You forgot to turn on the valve?

A slope of 90 degrees would certainly cause a problem

In the beginning there was darkness.
Then I bought a tent.
I'm not destitute, I'm just poor.

Is gas bottle red propane bottle? If it’s a blue butane bottle weather might be too cold for it to work.
