Good morning all,
Have been a caravanner for nearly 20 years and am now looking to get a motorhome. We have spotted a Ford Herald Aragon near to us

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/192551276549?ul_noapp=true

I'm not too keen on the blue-would probably repaint it grey as original. Missed a really nice one a few weeks ago.

Any thoughts/advice greatly appreciated.

Regards

Steve

I would do a search for motorhome specific forums where you might find a bit more info or ideas prior to making a purchase

I use Motorhome Fun

Before looking at the motorhome fittings, It's a 20 year old chassis with possibly 20 year old components (brakes, hubs, suspension etc). Possible rust on major structural components underneath.

First port of call is to check the MOT history online to see what has been picked up on over the years and what if anything has been replaced.

You should get a feeling off the seller if its been loved with no expense spared. A nice wedge of paperwork, receipts, invoices etc is always welcome.

Don't rush into it.

Thanks both,

Will have a close look at MOT history and set loose with my damp meter.

Regards

Steve

Update.

Had a look at a Ford Autosleeper legend-but that had damp from a rear window leak.

Finally put down a deposit on a 2009 Autosleeper Cotswold which we pick up in a couple of weeks.

Regards

Steve
