on a recent drive i had to pull over to allow a large log lorry to pass. unfortunately my nearside mirror caught a road sign and pulled the mounting bracket from the side panel. it has stripped the thread from all 4 screws. i am having difficulty getting to the rear of the side panel and wondered if anyone has had the same problem. the m/home is a 2005 B class HYMER 644 any help or advice would be appreciated. my wheels were on the road,but the side overhang caused the problem. 7pm
Could you not clean the threads with the use of a Tap and Die set...this sort of thing, alternative is to fit a Helicoil or if your not to worried about getting them back out again you could glue them in with araldite or similar
