I have carried a watering can for years, but last year I bought one of those Hozelock expandable hoses (the one up to 15 metres), this is one of the best things I ever bought for the van.It can reach from the other side of the van if needed. It is easy to put away. I coil it around one hand (when it is limp and empty)and shove it into a plastic, draw stringed bag.Make sure to carry the two different tap connectors available, as not all filler taps are the same. These are easily lost so I carry spares.
