Hello.
In my motorhome just inside the door entrance on the floor is a cable aluminium cable protector. An after market 230v cable runs through it. All checks carried make me think the cable has been damaged following a recent repair. I can't see how to access the aluminium protector cover to inspect the cable.
Can anybody help me?

As we cannot see any fixing screws I would guess that the strip is probably held down with either double sided tape or some type of mastic/ adhesive. See if the strip has any slight movement to give you a clue?
