The fridge has lights working but we cannot get it to cool. Any suggestions what we do next (totally impractical people)!!!

In front of the temperature control there are two warning lights; a green one always on when 12v present; and a red one which flashes intermittently to tell you what the fault is. The fridge manual has instructions, and is available on t'interweb.
