I have just recieved a Dunlop Airride Air Assisst Kit and have a query regarding the fitting of the top plate to the air bellows from members who have fitted them. The top plate is to be secured by 4 x M8 Countersunk screws though a 14mm diameter straight drilled hole. This seems odd to me as an ex engineer i would have expected a countersunk hole. Why would you have a sloping screwhead contacting a right angled edge. Has this caused anyone any problems after fitting.
