We bought this motorhome new 1 year ago and am about to arrange first habitation check. Since we have had it, if driving in very heavy rain, which we have done only twice, water comes in somewhere around the habitation door. The first time it happened we had it checked and the door was tightened up but yesterday it happened again. It cant be meant to happen as there is a piece of carpet fitted to the doorwell. There is also a very small hole near the carpet which makes us wonder if it is a drainage hole but it doesnt make sense to me to expect water to come in where there is carpet.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Similar but not quite the same. Driving through heavy rain, water came in our AS Nuevo outside locker at the forward end & soaked the bags. We found that it was what I’d call a 2 stage lock - push the locker door shut & lock it, but then we must lean slightly on the catch & there’s a second click. No leaks since doing that second push as the door is fully sealed.
But I’m not convinced that’s what’s happening with your hab door or else someone has to push it extra shut from the outside which isn’t convenient.
