My 2016 Peugeot radio has stopped working on the DAB setting, it’s fine on AM and FM.
I have read that on some Fiat vehicles a software/firmware upgrade is necessary , not sure if this applies to Boxer and Relay vehicles, has anyone else experienced this problem?
Have you checked your DAB aerial is properly conected ? The AM/FM runs off a different aerial I believe so thats why you are still able to pick them up. At least they do on my van but yours might be a different setup.
DAB aerials are usually amplified. Check whether the amplifier receiving power and it's grounding. Often connected to the auxiliary power output /power antenna supply on the head unit.
I don’t know where the aerials would be but I’m told they could be in the wing mirrors, also don’t know if it’s near side or offside, any further help would be appreciated.
Is the dab amplifier in the radio unit itself or is it a remote unit.?
I did some research on line and a couple of people said they had to have a software/firmware upgrade done by a Peugeot dealer.
I will ask a dealer to oil they can offer any help.
