I've never seen one of those. Our 'van has a pop top, but it lifts sideways. If you intend to camp in lots of hot weather, then it might be nice to open the roof somewhat, certainly ours gets hot despite the net window. But then you risk getting lots more insects in.....
Also depends on the price difference.

The T6 forum (I’m not a member, it cropped up on Google) says the Scenic version is fun because you can look out of the open bit & children love it.

We have a Jerba with the scenic pop top. It is great in the warm weather and to look out at stunning views just laying there relaxing

I like the look of the scenic, if heading for warmer climates would definitely choose it but just in the UK not sure how much it would be used. We gave a pop top and front has a panel that zips out but gave to say we rarely remove it.
