I paid a company to uprate my motorhome from 3500kg to 3850kg it was expensive.
Now I want to put it back to 3500kg can I do this myself for free.
Any help please, Thank you.

You should go to the company again as you will need new certificate and weight plate issued. Also iF weight on V5 was changed will need new one from DVLA

Downplating is relatively inexpensive as there are no modifications to the vehicle required,when I enquired of SVtech 11 years ago it was in the region of £70 plus vat.
