Hi. When motorhome has been stood there is an alarm like sound coming from the fuse box. When I turn engine on or press the electric or water pump buttons the noise stops.
Can anyone tell what the problem is please cheers
Len

Try Google because the first one on the list was https://forums.motorhomefacts.com/53-autotrail-motorhomes/113059-autocruise-starburst-ec200-electrical-problem.html?amp=1
You haven’t given that much information about your noise, might not be the same.
Worth searching the UKCS forum too, though it’s not a problem I remember hearing about before.

Hi.
The thinks it might be the motorhome battery charge running down. ( not the battery that runs the engine).

We haven't been out in the motorhome since September. The only time it moved was for its MOT and timing belt change. APPROX 10 miles in total. After this we didn't hear buzzing for a while.
Today I went to motorhome and the buzzing was sounding again. Started MY and it stopped for bit.
We are planning to give MY a run out to Brid on Thursday to see if it cures problem.

Do you think it could just be the battery not getting any use that I the problem?

Cheers

All I can think of is the habitation relay (if one is fitted) chattering.

How old is the MH?

its a good idea to keep your leisure battery topped up, you could do this by removing and using a car battery charger et on a timer or buy a c tek smart charger, this will make the battery last much longer, it wont interfere with you being able to drive if you did leave it at home to charge while you used the mh for a day out although you wouldnt have 12v power to run your taps or toilet flush

Took MH for run out to Brid yesterday and alarm noise stopped as soon as I started engine. Went this morning and all was quiet.
We are thinking it was because liesure battery was a little low.
Looked at monitor in Brid and it said liesure battery was 12.?v (good).
We will be going out again at the weekend to see if it keeps battery topped up.
