Hi
Recommendations for insurance please,
Two brokers have given quotes £200 cheaper than CAMH as a new owner with no NCB.
They are Grove and Dean and Performance direct, anyone recommend either of these brokers.
Thank you as I want to get it right for a 70k van.
There are many factors that determine the quote you’ll get, so my cheapest might be your most expensive.
We’re with SAGA, they’re a bit pushy with selling 3 years fixed price (we declined) but we can’t fault their response when we had a bad windscreen gravel chip incident.
I’ve never heard of the 2 you mention, but that’s not a criticism of them.
More suggestions will follow shortly….
sapper I'm confused, the other day you were enquiring about caravan insurance so do you have one of each?
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
I did, but we have now bit the bullet and bought a new 2022 Chausson titanium premium pick up on 16/3.
I sourced storage, found insurance but found 2 brokers offering insurance £200 cheaper which includes legal and breakdown cover.
I am going to CC show and may get quotes there.
I have a quote from them £150 cheaper the have fairly good reviews also, but like the other 2 mainly from car buyers.
Hoping I would get views of longterm motorhome owners.
What about Comfort Insurance who seem to specialise in motorhome insurance. I am insured with the CMC and their premiums seemed to be similar to others but not very flexible if you change anything.
My insurance is due next month so I had a look at some providers.
Comfort was by far the most expensive, nearly twice the Adrian Flux quote, though this may not be a like for like comparison. CAMC quote was very reasonable which was curious as I stopped using them because their price had suddenly increased.
------------- Two drifters off to see the world.
I'm tired of reality, so I'm off to look for a good fantasy.
I am with Safeguard, as recommended by Young Conversions who insured their own MHs with them.
I got a 10% discount too for referral.
