Hi and am relatively new to this. I have an Adria Matrix Supreme687SLT and is 3 years old. I took it for its first outing over the weekend and first night great but about 7.30 in the evening the hookup power went. Switched to gas heating which was fine. I thought it may have been a fault at the campsite but sadly not. Came home today, hooked up to the mains and nothing is coming through. I normally get a plug icon showing on the panel when it’s hooked up but it’s showing nothing.
Would really appreciate some help with this!

Have you checked the trip switch on the consumer unit is in the up position ? Usually this is located inside van adjacent to hookup socket on outside. The switch will trip to down position to protect van electrics if there is a fault with campsite hookup or maybe your hookup cable has a disconnected connection inside plug or socket so check them.

Electrics could also trip if you overload it with too many high drain appliances. For example if you had a 2kw fan heater running then switched on a domestic electric kettle which can draw 3kw on startup.

The trip switch would be the first thing to check. I would have thought the site EHU would have tripped before the van one, but depends on the site.

Firstly you need to prove that you have incoming supply to the van, this can be done by inspecting the incoming switch, properly called an RCD, it will have a button marked test, if it is in the up position push the button marked test and if there is incoming supply it will trip the RCD.
If the switch is in the down position try to reset it by returning it to the up position, if there is incoming supply it will remain up, if there is no incoming supply it won't reset.
If it turs out you have no incoming supply that would suggest a faulty hookup cable.
There is no guarantee which RCD will trip in the event of a fault, if the site electrics are up to date, as they are both rated the same.

Often the mains hook up lead gets dirty pins and tubes in the blue plug and sockets. I think it's due to long periods of non use whilst stored in cold damp atmosphere.

Plugging in and out several times often cures the problem.

Thanks Billy, will check the fuses tomorrow.
I did check the trip switch on the site but nothing had tripped there!
