Hi all, we have a European TV in our motorhome, I think its French. It has a strange connection for the power, want to change the TV for a British one but can't find a power cable with the connection to fit the plug, does anyone know if u can get a power cable with the TV end to fit a British TV and the plug end to a French European plug, it's round and about 3 inches long with a silver nipple on the end

Have you got British sockets in the van? If so a normal power lead supplied with a UK TV would be fine. If you have Euro type sockets you could get a plug in adapter or convert to British sockets.

Tony beat me to it but his question made me think perhaps you are talking about a 12 volt cigarette lighter type plug.

Hi, yes it looks very much like a cigarette type plug, we do have a British socket but only one in the whole van, have an extension lead but don't want to over power the socket, think it might just be a new British TV though. Thanks for your help guys

I have the same problem can you get the tv to fit the lead anywhere in this country ?
