Well, that's more of a statement than a question! What exactly are you asking/expecting of us?

Are you asking if anyone on here has one to sell?
Or, if anyone knows where you could get one?
Or, if any other model/brand has a compatible axle that could substitute? (common design to several manufactures, parts may be interchangeable!)
Or indeed, if it's feasible to replace the axle at all?

The axle fitted depended on version, with FWD, RWD and 4x4 versions produced.

We need more specific info unless we are to wildly speculate!

Unusual for an axle to fail an MOT. What exactly is wrong with it, and can it not be repaired?

If it’s a 30 yo MH (model as yet unknown), is it a death knell? “beyond economic repair”? I’m not an engineer, but it sounds like a pretty big (read expensive) job to me. Find part, fit part….

It depends. Unless the axle has actually broken in half, which I doubt, it can probably be repaired. It does depend on what has actually gone wrong. There is also the option of fitting parts from a breaker's yard. I wouldn't have thought it was completely beyond repair, a decent garage should be able to fix it.

Hi guys
Apologies 1st post
During a routine test of the brakes it was discovered someone has has made a bodge job of an axle that was knackered.
Obviously to get it through its test last year. its been put back together to get rid of.
Economic wise if i can get a rear wheel axle to replace the one i have its worth fixing, its no teeth on it and unfixable (HGV) mechanics diagnosis

Teeth? Is it a 4 wheel drive vehicle? The only teeth I can think of are in the differential. In any case, it should be easy enough to fix if you can get hold of an axle from a breaker.

When I had my workshop I could have changed that quite easily.

As a mechanic with nigh on 50 years in the trade, I've never heard of this!
Bottom line is you need another axle.
Breakers yards are your best bet.
