On our second trip with our kampa 260 and found that we needed some packing between the end of the air beam and the van, the kampa packing pads are around £10, which according to some people is expensive for what they are, so a cash saving too is get down to your local Lidl and buy a 5 foot length of compressed foam swimming aid at £1.99 and cut it to the size you need, it works a treat

The Kampa packing pads usually come in packs of 8 so I wouldn't say that was expensive at just over a pound each. I also use them to lodge between tins and small bottles in the food cupboard to stop them moving about in transit so they are somewhat versatile for other uses too.

Not a price thing for me, as we use water pipe insulation foam. You just cut it to the length you need, for whatever use you are making it serve. The best thing for us is the table storage cupboard at the side of the fridge. Wonderful way to stop that rattle at the top end. Cut it oversize on length and wedge it in. Wardrobe and coat hangers clanging about or falling from the rail. Just cut a couple of lengths and it stops all that. The best bit about this 'pipe' insulation is that it has a cut on one side and you can just push it onto whatever job you have for it.
