Any ideas on how to get a tighter seal on an air porch awning on a motorhome, we've got roof poles and side poles but never seems tight enought to the van.

The foam buffer pads that run behind the two upright poles should be tucked towards the inside of the awning. That should be enough to shut out the gap each side providing you have the base of the poles pinned down to the ground as close to the motorhome side as possible.
