I have put this question on the caravan forum too as we currently have a TA Caravan and will be changing to a motorhome next year.
I want to buy a Caravan / Motorhome specific Sat Nav before our holiday to Switzerland and the French Alps that can be programmed with the outfit dimensions and has European mapping and sites information.
The two I have short listed which appear to be the most popular are the Avtex Tourer Two Sat Nav GPS and the Tom Tom Go Camper Max.
They are about the same price, does anyone use either of these and can offer any advice or
I have the Tomtom caravan/motorhome unit and it works great, had it now for 3 years so I guess the newer ones are even better
I bought it direct from TomTom and they gave me a very good deal with lifetime maps and traffic, free delivery
As with all sat navs it can make mistakes but frankly they are extremely rare
As well is two words!
