My old water heater gas/Electric Truma is no longer viable for parts.

We have decided to get one of the above. Can any one advise. The 6l will basically fit in the area of my old boiler.

The 10l will need extra work area.

My main questions are we only use the hot water for washing up and basic face wash.

However we have a shower we never really use.

Would the 6l be sufficient for. Our hot water needs.

That’s the one top of the lists or should I get the 10 litre.

Space is limited but at a push can fit either.

I understand they are quiet easy to fit please comment.

Everyone’s time is greatly appreciated thank you in Advance.

Don’t forget that each size won’t provide the full amount of hot water. As you use some it is replaced with cold water.

My caravan had a Carver Cascade water heater but that exploded last year sending water all over the place. When I enquired about having it repaired I found that it would cost a lot more than fitting a new Propex one, so that's what I did. We don't normally use our shower either and have found the 6 litre one adequate for our needs. Very easy to fit and it goes in the space previously occupied by the Carver.

We’ve never used our shower, but other people will only use their own shower, even if they’re hotel standard on site. Only you know which is your preference. I’m happy to pay a site fee & someone else cleans the shower, as I’m on holiday. I think if you always use your own toilet, without exception, it’s probably similar for the shower. Our loo is emergency only.

Likewise Fiona. We only use our loo last thing, overnight, and maybe first thing in the morning. We are off-site most of the day anyway, but when we are on site we always use the site facilities, after all we are paying for them, and we try to minimise carrying anything heavy. Water and toilet waste containers come into that category. Our toilet/shower compartment is very small and there are too many things in there to bang heads and elbows on.
