In case it’s of interest to anyone, as I’ve not found these in a search of this particular forum. Apologies if everyone knows except me, and please read no further.
I came across the Motor Caravanners Club MCC & its links to the Campaign for Real Aires CAMpRA when I was trying to find a site in walking distance of Kingussie Wildlife Park. (Because no dogs are allowed in its car park & I want to see their Polar bear family.) Site not listed in UKCS - a form for me to do when I’ve got a minute. https://www.themotorcaravannersclub.co.uk/
It’s a “not for profit” company limited by guarantee, that lists Night Stops & something called Safe Knights plus its own Certificated Locations plus some independent sites. Overnight Fees seem low & many have a minimal fee to just empty the toilet etc.
It’s not for us, as there aren’t enough MCC CLs in my area of interest, the other independent sites listed are ones that we know and we’re not rally types. But MCC has its own Disability Adviser to help disabled MH users, which might be of interest. I think there are savings with ferries etc too (but I’ve not memorised the website pages).
The CAMpRA logo also shows up on some locations listed in the Stop4Night app (some of which I know are in the Britstops book).
