We bought a new camper, the skylight is leaking the gas central heating is not working properly and the leasure battery goes empty after half a hour of just watching tv.
We have been back to the camper uk sale room several times and each time they say they have fixed the problems. It is a 4 hour round trip X 2 as we have to go there with the camper and the car. Does anyone know if we can claim compensation from the company as the motor home is still under warranty?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Regards Danny
send a recorded delivery letter to them stating that you have given them fair chance to rectify the issues, and that you either want them to pay for someone local to fix this correctly or you will be returning the campervan as its not suitable for the purpose it was sold, give them a date to have contacted you by or it will be going to a solicitor, check with your house insurance, or even if you paid the deposit by credit card as you will be then covered by them to get involved in getting this fixed
Is the “camper uk sale room” a dealership selling many different makes of vehicle? Or the sales place for one make only, where they convert a panel van (say).
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
