I use a Garmin Camper 760 7 inch screen as everyone will tell you they are not perfect but do at least allow you to select van size for bridges, weight restrictions etc.

Take a look at Ohrex quite a few truck drivers use them.

I use Magic Earth app on my mobile phone (but patched through to the large dash screen in the car via Android Auto) for navigating with the caravan. Magic Earth is free, feature rich, has 'off line' mapping so you don't lose navigation if phone signal drops out, gives live traffic and camera info, and so far has not picked any 'unsuitable' routes for the caravan. Like all sat navs, it has it's 'wobbles' and quirks, but no worse than every other sat nav I've used from a range of makers.

Before I actually entrusted a journey to it, I checked it's routing numerous times on routes I know well, and know some route options are not the best for caravans, but it has always picked a route I know works OK, so some confidence in it, but like ALL sat navs, I NEVER trust them absolutely, and always verify the trickier sections with a look at Google earth/streetview if it's a new route to me.

Neither my inbuilt car TomTom sat nav, nor my standalone TomTom sat nav allow 'caravan' settings to be input and influence route, but I do use TomTom Mydrive online route planner, which has Caravan/MH vehicle options, to plan a route, then transfer it to my standalone TomTom unit (if you have a TomTom account, and done at the push of a button), BUT ensure you disable auto reroute options on the unit, otherwise it may pick an alternative route on the fly which is unsuitable!

Both are free, worth a try, move on to something else if you don't like!

Tomtom make camper specific satnavs that allow you to input your vehicle size, weight etc which avoids unsuitable roads and also include POI such as campsites etc ready loaded. You can also ask it to avoid certain types of roads and hazards such as unpaved roads, bridges etc.

We have just gone from a Tomtom Camper and Caravan Go to a Tomtom Camper max which are very happy with as you can ask it to show a warning when approaching ULEZ zones.
