We have a Renault trafic conversion with a pop top that won’t stay up! Guessing it’s a hinge or strut that needs replacing. However, I’m finding it nigh on impossible to find someone to repair it. All van companies locally will only repair their own conversions. I’m in Sussex. Any suggestions? The only place I’ve found so far that look like they could do it is in Devon 😬
https://www.sgs-engineering.com/gas-struts/re-gassing-service are the people you need, you can even just send yours to them and they will replace all parts and regas the struts, did an excellent job on ours last year

yes very easy to do, took us 10 mins to do the front box on our caravan so even allowing an extra 5 mins for getting ladders for yours wont take you long to swap them over
