New leisure batteries x 2
New water pump
New van battery
New leisure battery charger and maintainer
New van battery charger and maintainer
Plus a hefty bill for a motor electrician for diagnostics and remedial work required to address the electical issues, such as something in the van was draining the van's battery.
The electrician managed to fix the non-starting Webesto heater after the leisure batteries were changed (incorrect reconnection).
The van's battery can now be re-charged by a flick of a switch in the storage compartment to turn on its own dedicated battery charger and maintainer.
I thought I had that option originally, however, it did not appear to be working properly/efficiently, resulted in the battery not holding a charge.
The 12V ciggie socket voltameter and temperature tester confirms no more drainage on the van's battery.
The battery charger and maintainer for the leisure batteries has also been relocated to the storage compartment.
I have lost some storage space as a result to avoid covering the 2 chargers and maintainers; however, some space was gained from under the driver's seat after the replacement battery charger was removed (the original one died last year in April 2025).
Fingers firmly crossed that all the electrical issues have now been addressed satisfactorily.
