We take our Screen house 4 with us when we go to Europe with no issues.
Back home is a different story as many sites either charge you or forbid them occasionally some don't mind. No one sleeps in it just used for dining in and storing locked ebikes in.
We also have a driveway Vango Kella that we use only in theUK as its to bulky to take abroad.
We were recently told to take down a pup tent on a Haven site 'only used to store table & chairs'. They said it's due to planning consent.

Thanks all for your replies!
We’ve seen all sorts of combinations on our travels so far, policing the rules is hit and miss by the looks of things, so will just check ahead if we decide we want the tent rather than the awning
