I own a Nissan Navara and I have been thinking of purchasing a demountable camper. Does anyone know whether I would need to remove the roll bars or would the camper fit over them. Also, are there any disadvantages?
Hello. I'm afraid that you would have to lose your roll bar to fit a demountable. The disadvantages are that you will not be able to fit into multi-storey car parks. Please let me know which cab you have so that I can help further.

Sorry to butt in but I wonder if you could help me. We've been looking at a 2003 Mitsubishi L200 and wanted to know how a camper would be fixed down to the bed?
Any assistance gratefully received as we thinking of buying a demountable and want to buy a suitable vehicle.
Hello on some demountable's you use ratchet straps and lash them to your exsisting eyes.Or on others you have extra eyes fitted called dymond why bolts and then use turn buckles to safely hold it in the bed.

I have had a look at the NSR website: Are these true demountables as in "Legs down-Drive away" or are they Camper backs for fitting onto Crew cab veihicles?
