We have an Elddis Autostratus, fitted with the usual Zig unit and a solar panel. We find that the charge in both the vehicle & leisure battery dies away over a few days or at most a couple of weeks of storage, even though it's usually on an electric hook-up during storage. We've even had to get a jump-start after a couple of days on site, on a hook-up. Does anybody have any suggestions as to what might be going on? The vehicle battery is fairly new, the leisure battery hasn't been changed in the 2 years we've had the 'van, but the problem's been there all along anyway.
I agree that something's draining the batteries, I do try to turn everything off, fridge & Status TV amp being the most likely candidates to be forgotten.
I'll try & find out if the panel has a diode, the wiring's all a bit of a rat's nest though!
