hi all, i have a 1998 elldis wanderer and the basin tap in the loo compartment is connected to a long pipe that can be pulled up to enable you to place the tap head in the higher position for a shower if you so wish. the thread on the pipe that connects to the tap head has broken and i need to replace it as i am worried about leaks beind the panneling. it is a whale tap system. does anyone know where in the south i might purchase one? slightly digressing, this has been the only problem since i bought the van new and also the only area that has been worked on by a motorcaravan dealer when they said i had water ingress in the toilet area and stripped the basin and toilet out and since then i have the present problem and cracks in the panels.....and the only problem in the first place was condensation running off the window causing the black from the rubber window seals to run. thanks, tom

Most caravan or motorhome dealers keep a reasonable stock of spares, or you might find an accessory/spares shop,  try Yellow pages.

Hi GT Towing at Hatfield keep a good selection of Whale parts. Phone or email and see if they've got the bits you need, I expect they would supply by post if it's too far to travel.

01707 262526 or sales at gttowing.co.uk

They are on the Great North Road at Welham Green

Phil.
