We have used Safeguard for 3 years now good price.  Unfortunately our problem is too much breakdown insurance rather than lack of.  We have breakdown built in with policy (and no way to get out of it), 3 years from Ford and as I am in GEM I can also use it for motorhomes up to 6metres(please check this) and can remember any weight limit on GEM's info.

Try the MCIA on 0870 366 1245 They are generally very competitive.

My Autosleeper Nuevo cost £225 (inc. tax) this year. That is with full NCD.

If you are with the C & CC, their Insurance Broker reckons to beat a firm quote by £15

I insured my Talbot with Coyle Hamilton. It cost £176 unlimited mileage including breakdown cover.

Hi Any suggestions where a NZ based couple (one born in the UK) can get insurance for a UK based motor home? We have tried Down Under insurance but because the vehicle is 6.2 litre diesel, it is too big for them!!

It performs like an ordinary car, not a Ferrari!!

Any suggestions gratefully received.

If you qualify [ie you are an oldie like me!] Saga are very competitive.
