Hi Annie,
It's the other way around! The ferrets are pets not working ferrets, but the cats are terriffied of them.
Th ferrets live outside in hutches inside a secure ferret shed, but they come in for exercise when we know the cats are safely outdoors.
The ferrets can smell the cats and act aggressive. When the cats come in they get the scent of the ferrets and flee.
