We have been looking for ages for the ideal Motor Home. We are looking to do a self build and are limited to information. Can anyone advise of good sites to visit. We are also looking into Ex Cuncil Libraries. Where do you get them from? Have found some sites today but need loads more info, please help. My partner is a builder by trader so would like to do a probject from scratch.
i bought myself a copy of the Haynes motorhome manual. all sorts of info in there and on conversions too. and have you tried Ebay. they have old ambulances and yes i did see a mobile library once. just type MOTORHOME into the search box. i am still looking for my transport but when i find it you'll all know !!

ann have a read of auto trader in the vans section in the one in our area there are quite a few high top transits ,fiats iveco daily and there was one ford van that had a coach built luton body with doors in the side looked really good and a while ago there was a hobby part conversion the van with the double rear axle ,local car and van auction places are good to go to but b careful if you deceide to buy,hope ypou have fun doing your van conversion

and then searched the boot sales and charity shops for stuff that might be useful.
now after 6 years i am still working on her and she is as well equipped as the house
and we have used her to do 40K miles and 500 nights on the road as well.. go for it
