We have been looking for ages for the ideal Motor Home. We are looking to do a self build and are limited to information. Can anyone advise of good sites to visit. We are also looking into Ex Cuncil Libraries. Where do you get them from? Have found some sites today but need loads more info, please help. My partner is a builder by trader so would like to do a probject from scratch.

Try Measham auctions, they sell ex local authority vehicles, utility company vehicles etc and hold their commercial vehicle sales every Friday starting at around 9.30 am.Get their details from the british car auction web site.I would gladly go with you to view any vehicle that you may be interested in purchasing (i am a motor engineer by trade).

I bought an old ambi bedford cf

now after 6 years i am still working on her and she is as well equipped as the house
and we have used her to do 40K miles and 500 nights on the road as well.. go for it
