Just to get rid of the blue face I'll tell you about one I had, We were crossing Denbigh moors in the mid 90's heading from Pentre Foelas to Denbigh. There was heavy mist and only one other vehicle, a mk 3 ford escort in front of us. Niothing else on the road.We pulled over to see to the kids and then started off again. Through the mist I could make out another vehicle looming up and thought it must be the escort. I was astonished to see a mk 1 ford cortina and recognised the white and green livery as being one of the lotus models. There was one figure driving it. When we neared the Sportsman,s arms it pulled into a carpark opposite. The lights were on but didn't glow and looked as though they were painted red, sort of as if it had very poor earths. I remarked to my wife that anyone who took such a valuable car up on the moors in thick fog must be bonkers. At the time they were changing hands for around £20,000. It was only when we picked up the escort again I realised that there was no way the cortina could have gotten between us and the escort unless the escort overtook and as the driver appeared very cautious and was absolutely crawling through the fog I couldn't see why he would do that.
hi all, i was driving back to Wrexham along the A55 in the wee small hours a couple of years ago in my car. there was literall nothing on the road only me in any direction. all of a sudden, headlights appeared in my rear view mirror. instead of them gradually getting nearer, they were opon me in seconds. the spooky thing was, you will never believe this, it was a hearse complete with occupant. and yes it was going like a bat out of hell !! so now we know how much respect undertakers show when they don't expect anyone to be looking.
not while camping but while on vacation, yes. We were in Jordan visiting a roman amphiteater were many atrocities were committed for the sport of it. At this place there's a musuem with wax figures, we enjoyed the visit and took many photos. When we came back, my wife and I both froze at the sight of one of the pictures: there was a figure that simply wasn't there! It was dressed differently from the others, looking straight at us. At the same time, its face was looking into a mirror in front of it, opposite to us, a kind of impossible situation. The thing wasn't casting any shadows and was sort of blurry. It can't be been an overimpression because the camera is digital, the figure was reflected in the mirror and was partly behind a table, with many details visible through the carved chairs. SCARY isn't it! I still have it, we never look at it though.
I don't think so, the escort driver was really cautious and absolutely crawling through the fog. I don't think they would have tried overtaking a snail.
