I am thinking of moving from caravan to motor caravan, & towing a small car

I have heard that A frames may not be legal

As I would prefer one to a trailer, can anyone throw any light on this

Many thanks

I have used one for five years and havenever been stopped in this country.

As long as you think about the things you do and check each time you connect up that it is OK you should have no trouble. Don't forget you cannot reverse with the car connected with the A frame.

Make sure the brackets are fitted correctly.

Best of luck !
