When i delivered the van to the dealer i removed i my contents, so apart from my new gas bottle and a cd stacker system i am ok and can claim this back on my insurance.

the differance between my insurance offer £17000 and what i paid for it £19995 including trade in 4 months earlier, i have been told by my soliciter is lost as you are unable to claim/sue anyone for this affter your insurance has made their offer.

i am now awaiting the check from the insurance and have order another van from another dealer.

this dealer is still leaving peoples motorhomes out on a public car park during the day for anyone to come along and steal, 4 vans on the day i visited to question them over my stolen van and when the police called.

If you wanted to be a thorn in there side you could always take them to the small claims court for the excess you had to pay your insurance company.

This is an expense not covered by any insurance policy

In most cases these are settled out of court because they dont want the bad press.

Glad to here you had emptied your motor we had just fill ours up for the new season and had only gone away once,

A good thing really as my insurance broker failed to notify me that the cover was coming to an end and by taxing the vehicle i found it was due Now that would have been a heart breaker.
