As I am in the market for a new(ish) motorhome as a change from my caravan, i was wandering if any one has experience of importing a MH from another country?

What was it like and what was the process involved? I only ask cos I see a few dealers are doing this and of course putting their mark up on it.

my uncle looked in to this befor buying his motorhome you can save thousands if you have time to drive it back but you could make it in to a holiday

It was easy to import and an adventure. The things you want to think of are : 1. the layeout 2. how much you want to pay 3.where in Germany the dealer is 4. any airports near dealer 5. how much are the flight.
