Ahhhhhhhhhh Joan - well look at it this way at least shes gone to a new home and will be well looked after and u have a new van to love as much as u did sooty we shall be the same tomorrow when Prescilla has gone. Yeah we have Zippy but she was our first - suppose like u r now with Sooty. Y dont u do what iim gonna do tomorrow and think about all the good times - theres more for u to think about than me. I think about her when we picked her up and drove her from London etc etc and what we could have done but u can think of the meets u went on with her, the fun, the laughs, the jibes (we all gave u them at Sherwood!), the excitement when u used the porta loo for the first time (only for number 1's though i heard u say) and im sure the list could go on. After all if it wasnt for sooty you wouldnt have joined the site u have a lot to thank her for shes still with u - in your heart at least. Im sure your new van will give u as much enjoyment as sooty and youll have time to make new memories for her.

The man who bought Sooty was very nice - a solicitor. He wants to do what I did. Use her to see if he, his wife and baby take to motorhoming and if so buy a better one.
I have emailed him tonight as I thought he would have let me know he had got home safely. Sooty has never been on a long trip before! Maybe I am expecting too much, Ive got to cut the strings because she belongs to him now.

Spoke to the guy whos buying our camper last night and he has a 2litre engine for Prescilla so she should be up and running before u know it hopefully we shall see her on the road sometime and we can all have a get together!!!!!! May see him at a club 80-90 meet (if wee ever get on one that is lol)! I know what u mean about cutting the strings - ill be the same. After all sooty was ur first and prescilla was ours so its hard.

well Joan - shes gone. The guys came to collect her today. They were very nice seemed chuffed to bits with her and have said they shall have an engine in her by next weekend. They want to get her up and running for easter so hopefully we shall see them on the road somewhere. But shes gone but never forgotten. went out for sdome retail therapy afterwards bought claire some new clothes lol

Hooray, I've managed it. Bellasbus is now on my personal gallery. So I feel she is really mine now and Sootysvan belongs to someone else. I may be poor but I'm happy.
