hi all those who welcomed me into the camper club two months ago ,just to up date you on my unhappy situation with getting on the road with my 1988 t25 vw.got parts from jk but wrong parts and they did not have the ones i needed so they took them back. so decided to buy new engine from vw agent. thinking this would solve all, but engine does not come with gasket set, went back to them only to be told i would have to buy a complete gasket set at £265 +vat.jk do same set at £89 so have ordered a set from them hope this has all i need to get engine up and running its booked in for mot sat 10 keeping fingers crossed i will get some use of it this summer. will keep you informed.
