Sorry I couldnt have a meet here this year, just too much happening with the kids exams and school holidays etc, as usual Alan is off to the USA for 4 weeks and Cheryl is off on one of her church expos to South Africa. All of this is happening at a bad time "camping wise" as they return bang on the ukcampsite main meet of the year, sorry folks have to leave that one to next year , I was really looking forward to that one, the Borders meet we will miss also, because we had booked a week in the Algarve at that time , but if enough interest in shown on this thread, I will do my utmost to arrange something for 2007.

 Went to Derry a few weeks back for my OH's 50th (not in the camper though!)  the views of the hills of Donegal were tempting and I would love to go to the Giant's Causeway etc. We had a great taxi driver to and back from the airport who was obviously very proud of his local area and the B & B folk could not have been more helpful.

Derry itself is still an up and coming city due to all the troubles but it's setting by the River Foyle is lovely.

Must look at those ferry options,
