I lost the locking cap off my fresh tank last year and although I covered the inlet, the padding must have blown away and it has been open for many weeks without me realising it.
Will the water inside be green? Is it enough to just flush it out and refill or will it be contaminated?
How am I best cleaning it out?

I personaly wouldn't use milton because the water never seems to taste the same after.
I would flush it through a few times filtering what comes out to see the extent of any debris.
I would then fill it and use the sterilising capsuals you can buy. I do however never use my MH water for drinking. I always use bottled water, unless of course I'm boiling it first.
Can't use the link Lava Lamp as it doesn't state ur address for some reason. It does this! Yes, I haven't been on the site for a long long time, neither have I used the van as you can tell. I take it there is a drain plug then under the fresh tank, I haven't even looked. What am I like?

I have looked and there doesn't seem to be a drain on the fresh tank only on the waste tank. Is there no way of emptying it then other than drawing the water off through the taps etc?

hi I have just purchased an old campervan and being new to this also and widowed are their any solo events? and are their a lot of solo motorhomers? kind regards dave
