Have been looking at MHs today. Totally confused by the choice out there. Do Like the above mh. Anyone out there got one? I have to say that having looked around 2 different dealers this was the only one that captivated me!
if so I too like the look of this model (455/454?????) Good finish on the Bessacar units altough I think they are all made by Swift (?) and the same none Bessacar model is a bit cheaper with 'just' the Swift badge on the front.
As you live in Dudley you may find a few bessacar units at Brownhills motorhomes on the A5 just outside Cannock (new and used) that's where we saw them when we were looking
------------- Snowmen fall to earth in kit form........
Every day is a gift..That's why it's called the present.
Hi Donna Marie is selling her Bessacar m/h about £22K, if you place a FAO Donnamarie she will reply, hers is really lovely, but she is swopping for a car and c/van
Hi Lunnie, I have decided to stay with the motorhome for now, should have told peeps but been soooo busy.
Mandie, hope you get sorted with a motorhome, are you still looking at a Bessacarr? I have the 425 4 berth with the 'L' shaped lounge at the back. I have never had any trouble with it apart from small problem with a tap but that was minor. Good luck, let us all know what you finally get......
Hi Donna missed ya last weekend ....... hope you have a brill time in Cornwall ..... are you coming on the North go's South for Easter meet .... pleased to here your keeping the Bessie, give me more time to get my numbers up lol
Hi Caz, sounds like you all had a great time at the National, sorry I missed it but there's always next year. Cant find the thread for the North goes South Easter 07 meet, is it up on the board yet?
Looking forward to Cornwall, cant wait....yep decided to keep Bess, all things considered she is still the best option for me and Jamie
We had a bessacarr E445 was lovely build quality was excellent but decided that a huge bathroom at the back was just a wast of space and needed bigger seating arrangement so changed but couldn't fault the bessie at all. It is made by Swift but is the top of their range.
Thanks for your advice, and the interesting chat about next years meets!
We have now gone for the Autosleeper Executive. Double berth above the driving bit and two singles in the back. Daughter does not plan to sleep in the mh and will only be coming with us next summer, then the real battles will begin! Son is very excited to be sleeping in mh but I suppose when sister stops holidaying with us he will want to bring a friend and use the tent. Kids!
Picking mh up 21/8 and going to Aberyskwyth (or however you spell it) the following Sat for a week.
Pleased to see you have gone for a good quality Van.
We had a Bessacar 7 series which was built like a caravan and in no way up to serious use.
After 2 years and 3 shower trays involving loss of use for months in the summer, we exchanged it for an Autosleeper Exec. Swift couldn't even bother to do a modification and insisted their dealer replaced the inadequate part with another the same.
Autosleepers are not perfect but the design has been refined over many years.
