I have always had transit vans to transport my goods about, and have been very pleased with them.SO , does any one know who made motorhomes/campervans using transit bases, say from 1995 to 2002. Preferably 4 berth if poss?
I am not sure what your question is exactly but we had an autosleepers transit long wheel based van. It was dated about 1995 - we can't remember. Lovely vehicle. this was only 2 berth.
Why not do a self build on one, that way you can have exactly what you want. We're part was through a conversion on a Mercedes Sprinter at the moment, and it's coming along great - and it's not as difficult as it might first appear.
found this on ebay.

Hi, my Granduca is Transit based (1996 2.5 Di) built in Italy so LHD.I bought this one because it was aTransit, a bit slow on hills (no turbo), does 25-27 Mpg. Its a coachbuilt 6 berth but only 18 ft long. When i got it 5 yrs ago I put new discs and pads on It, plus front downpipe and one wheel bearing, parts cost less than £200, just general servicing since then. Make sure you have a good look underneath for rust before you buy.
